Do I need fire cover for my event?

Event organisers have a duty of care to everybody attending. They are legally bound to this duty of care and to keep people safe. So, where there is even a minimal risk of injury, they need to ensure that they have taken the necessary steps to respond to potential incidents.

Who are Fire-Rescue Service?

Fire-Rescue Service is a Charity registered with the Charity Commision.

We currently have 18 volunteers. They all following our training programme which mirrors that of the Local Authority Fire&Rescue Service Retained/Oncall footprint.

All training plans are overseen by our Station Manager who has in excess of 30 years service with a Local Authority Fire Service.

Many of our team are medically trained to FREC 3/4 standard. We also have members who are NHS Ambulance Serice Paramedics.

Which areas do Fire-Rescue Service Cover?

Fire-Rescue Service is based in Ashington, West Sussex.

Our station has excellent road links and as such we provide cover throughout London and the South East.

For longer assignments we are able to travel UK wide.

How much notice do you need to attend?

When organising an event it is best to make contact with us at the outset of planning.

We can assist you along the way and ensure everything runs as smooth as possible.

However, should something be short notice we aim to have a crew mobile to you within the hour.
